Jannali railway station is located on the CityRail Illawarra line in the southern Sydney suburb of Jannali. It consists of two side platforms with street access on both sides. The platforms are connected by a road bridge at the southern end of the platform. The entrances to platform 1 and platform 2 are 200 metres (660 ft) apart by the shortest walkable route across the road bridge.

History

Jannali Railway Station commenced construction in July 1930[1] and was officially opened on February 7, 1931[2] due to increased residential development in the area. The development was requested and largely funded by Sutherland Shire Council. The bridge over the railway at Jannali was constructed at the same time as the station.

The station is served by four to six trains per hour each way, with additional trains during weekday peak hours.
